Manama: The Foreign Ministers of Bahrain, UAE, Saudia Arabia and Egypt held talks on Sunday in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The quartet on Qatar deadlock discussed the possibilities of seeking resolution to two months old diplomatic crisis gripping the Arab states over the issue of Qatar’s support to the terrorism which had been denied by Qatar.
The quartet had cut diplomatic ties and also blocked the sea, air and road access to Qatar isolating Qatar commercially.
The quartet had presented 13 demands to Qatar which had been not accepted by Qatar terming as not ‘realistic’and not workable.
The US mediation led by its Secretary of State Tillerson also failed to yield any results.
