UAE: International legal business DWF has appointed international arbitration partner Rabih Tabbara to its litigation team in Dubai as the business continues to expand its UAE presence. He joins DWF from K&L gates where he specialised in international disputes.
Rabih focuses his practice on all forms of dispute resolution with a particular focus on complex cross-border disputes. He also has extensive experience advising clients in their disputes in the oil and gas sector, especially in relation to feedstock supply agreements, crude oil pricing and refinery operations.
Regularly representing clients in arbitration proceedings at the International Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Center (ICC), the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), and the Lebanese Arbitration Center of the Chamber of commerce and industry of Beirut, Rabih has also counselled companies on court litigation in the UAE, and throughout the GCC.
In addition to his dispute resolution work, Rabih has advised major engineering and project management firms on doing business across the Middle East. Proficient in Arabic, English and French, Rabih has also practiced with a U.S. firm in Dubai.
