Islamabad: Pakistani authorities have allegedly issued red warrants for the arrests of two people from Bahrain in connection with murder of Shafique Tanoli, a well respected Pakistani community member in Bahrain and owner of Restaurant in Riffa.
The media reports in Pakistan revealed that following a business dispute, Shafiq Tanoli was murdered as a result of assault riffle firing by his cousin in Bani Bala area in Mansehra District, in KPK Province of Pakistan.
The deceased’s father Wazir Mohammed Tanoli has named Jehanzeb Tanoli as murderer of his son in the FIR lodged with the concerned police station. The complainant has allegedly named the PTI District Councillor Rafiq Tanoli and Bahrain-based Khan Mohammed Tanoli. Accused Khan Mohammed Tanoli, who has been named in the FIR has denied any involvement in the murder. The Police has arrested main accused Jehanzeb Tanoli and investigations are under way for further arrests.
The authorities are seeking arrests of two allegedly named suspects through Interpol, claims a TV report. Dilawer Tanoli, brother of deceased told reporters that the family had launched a compliant with the SHO Mansehra for protection against threats family was receiving from Raiq Tanoli at the behest of Khan Mohammed Tanoli.
It is worth noting that deceased Shaif had worked at D-9 Restaurant in Riffa before opening his own PC Restaurant in Riffa area and was well known among the Pakistani community in Bahrain.
