In relation to the interiors of the hotel, royal purples turquoise, layers of textures and patterns are strongly visible along with the arches that are influenced by the ancient royal courtyards of Bahrain. The Khalifa Heritage House’s unique decors was a main inspiration for the designers of the hotel and its essence is incorporated in the wood carvings, mirrors and floors.
Designed to perfection, the hotel designers searched all over the world to get the perfect faded olive-green shade that was used for the roofs, not only to complement the hotel’s exterior but to match the essence of Bahrain’s beautiful landscape.

More than 200 people handled choosing the Calacatta marble stones taken from deep mountains in Italy, five different types of Italian marble were used with each marble tile having its own unique pattern, each complementing the other to create one large masterpiece in each room.

Guest rooms pay homage to the Bahraini pearl diving industry with nacres, silvers, shimmer and ocean blue tones. Every bathroom has hand-blown glass chandeliers from the Czech Republic, comprising 13 different designs of chandeliers and 132 pieces in total inspired by the pearl diving shapes popular in Bahrain, while the walls are gilded in silver and gold by master French artisans.
Featuring 174 stunning rooms, as well as 10 luxurious summerhouses and 4 Royal Residences, the resort takes its inspiration from the historical royal houses of Bahrain and traditional summerhouses, which are rich with artistic wooden carvings.
