MANAMA: Al Hilal health Care Group has initiated free Diabetes Check-up during the Ramadan as part of its continuing efforts to create public awareness about health-related issues.
The Campaign unveiled by Dr. Mariam Al-Hajiri, Vice Chairman of Bahrain Diabetes Society and Assistant Undersecretary of The Ministry of Health under the patronage of Bahrain Diabetes Society, Kingdom of Bahrain. The free Diabetes Checkup offer package includes BP, Sugar Test, Diabetes and nutrition consultation.
“Number of Diabetes cases increasing day by day, which is rightly called A ‘Silent Miller’s. During the Holy month of Ramadan, people with Diabetes should be taking special precautions by visiting their diabetes specialist as well as adhering to bits of advice of their Dietician. The booklet issued in public interest by Al-Hilal on Ramadan and Diabetes is well appreciated,” Dr. Mariam Al-Hajiri, said.
“The incidence of Diabetes is on its rise in the region and management of blood sugar levels will help in delaying complications arising due to Diabetes.
