MANAMA: The launch of state-of-the-art eServices added a new dimension to the efficiency and transparency to the existing array of services in aviation, transport, maritime and telecommunication sectors, says the Minister.
HE Kamal bin Ahmed, the Minister for Transportation and Telecommunication on the sidelines of the Bahrain International eGovernment Forum and IT Expo 2018 said that new services like Tasareeh, Airport Permit Applications, Al Nawras and The Aeronautical Information Management System are few but very important milestones achieved under the eGovernment strategic goals.
“Tasareeh is an automated system allowing Airport Stakeholders and contractors to apply on-line, stay updated on the progress of their Airport Permit Applications. Tasareeh offers extreme ease of use of bulk applications, workflows, online payment, and multi approval process across all Airport’s Stakeholders, contractors and authorized approvers using an intelligent green environment mode of Operation and Validations.
Talking about the Bahrain International Airport Application, he said it is an automated system allowing Airport Stakeholders and contractors to apply on-line, stay updated on the progress of their Airport Permit Applications.
“APMS offers extreme ease of use of bulk applications, workflows, online payment, and multi approval process across all Airport’s Stakeholders, contractors and authorized approvers by using an intelligent green environment mode of Operation and Validations.”
“Al Nawras is an automated system allowing airlines and agents to apply for landing and overflying permissions, and flight scheduling. Provides a paperless workflow and email notifications and the Bahrain Weather portal provides updated information on weather forecasts, bulletins and reports.”
Last but not the least, the Minister added, the Aeronautical Information Management System offers access to the Bahrain Aeronautical Information Publication, namely Bahrain eAIP, associated supplements and Aeronautical Information Circulars (AIC). The system also provides access to the Pre-flight Information Bulletin (ePIB) and the submission of the Flight Plan (FPL).
