MANAMA: Al-Hawaj Group, in cooperation with Credimax, hosted the concluding ceremony of “I love you Mom” initiative 2019.
Held under the patronage of the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Jameel Bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, at the Four Seasons Hotel, attended by the Minister of Health, Faeqa Saeed Alsaleh, and the ministry of labour and social development undersecretary Sabah Salem Al Dosari, on behalf of the patron of the ceremony, and in the presence of a number of ambassadors, journalists, media personalities and public figures, on the occasion of the conclusion of the program “I love you my mother”.
Following a welcome speech delivered by the Chairman of the Board, Jawad Al-Hawaj, the Minister of Health expressed her appreciation for this program and welcomed the initiative launched by the Al-Hawaj Group to celebrate the mother, considering that these initiatives are not unusual for the Hawaj family, To promote human values within the Bahraini society, and called on the rest of the institutions to follow the group Hawaj in this social role, which we used to do only through the associations or ministries concerned, and the group Hawaj, which makes a great effort every year to remind feelings that may be absent.
Sabah Al Dosari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Al-Hawaj family for this initiative, stressing the importance of family bonding and appreciation of the precious mother’s role in the life of every human being.
The ceremony was held in honor of the Mother of the Year, Salwa Abdullah Qassem, winner of the Ideal Mother Competition of the Kingdom of Bahrain, who also was awarded with another prize at Cairo University in the Arab Republic of Egypt through the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation.
The Al-Hawaj family also presented a souvenir to Sabah Al Dosari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, in appreciation of his presence on behalf of the patron of the ceremony.
During the ceremony, Al-Hawaj Group also honored the jury members of the “I Love You Mom” sessions, who have done their best for the past three years in recognition of their great efforts which have had a significant impact on the success of this program.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the jury, consisting of the Secretary General of the Royal Charity Foundation Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, the Head of the Bahrain Journalists Association, Ahdia Ahmed, media professionals Anwar Ahmed and Shaima Rahimi, author Youssef Salahuddin and actress Shatha Sabt, read thousands of phrases and chose the best ones until they reached 10 winners, who will be honored later at another ceremony at Al Hawaj Group.
