Manama: INJAZ Bahrain held its annual appreciation ceremony in recognition of all supporters and volunteers who participated throughout the 2018/2019 academic year. The ceremony, held at Art Rotana-Amwaj and was attended by Hana Sawrani, INJAZ Bahrain executive director, INJAZ Bahrain board members, partners, supporters, sponsors and over 70 of its volunteers.
INJAZ Bahrain honoured officials and volunteers who actively engaged in the organization’s programs, for all their efforts in supporting INJAZ Bahrain vision in inspiring and preparing Bahraini youth to succeed in the global economy. The ceremony was followed by an appreciation dinner and raffle draws.
During an inspiring speech, delivered by Ms. Hana Sawrani, INJAZ Bahrain’s executive director, she expressed her gratitude to the partners and volunteers, for their collaboration with INJAZ Bahrain in implementing its programs, and accomplishing its goals, reiterating the importance of vision, teamwork, and innovation as critical success factors to ensure achievement and continuous improvement.
“We are grateful for the tremendous support we have received from our supporters and volunteers who are here today. Your involvement as individuals, corporations and organizations has been enthusiastic across all levels from start to finish, and we wouldn’t be able to reach great success without it,” she said.
She praised INJAZ Bahrain’s strategic partners in the private sector for their valuable support, whether through financial backing, offering advice and guidance, or providing volunteers. As the support provided by these companies stems from their corporate social responsibility and strong belief in the INJAZ Bahrain’s mission to equip the next generation of Bahrainis with the knowledge and skills to contribute to building Bahrain’s economic future.
Some of the yearlong supporters who received special recognition included Al Salam Bank, Alba, Banagas, Bapco, Batelco, BBK, Boeing, City Bahrain, Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo, EY, Gulf Hotel Group, GPIC, HSBC, KHCB, KFH, National Bank of Bahrain, Tamkeen, YK Almoayyed and Zubi Partners.
“Volunteering with INJAZ Bahrain provides a great opportunity for us to give back to the community. By volunteering to participate in these local programs, we are largely supporting INJAZ’s mission to inspire and skill-up the next generation of Bahraini entrepreneurs and business leaders in the region,” Khalid Abdulla, a volunteer from Bapco, said.
