MANAMA: The Kingdom of Bahrain on Sunday announced the complete two weeks closure of shops and businesses from March 26th to April 9, 2020.
HE Zayed Al Zayani, the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MOICT) during a joint Press conference said that the banks’ branches, hypermarkets, bakeries and pharmacies would remain operative during this two-week partial shutdown aims at making the safety of the people while the government continues to control the spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19.
The Minister said the orders of closure would be implemented through robust inspections teams of the MOICT and make sure that only essential businesses are open.
