MANAMA: Mahmood RAFIQUE, Editor: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s support for the media and communication sector is the light that guides everyone in the service of Bahrain and Bahrainis and in achieving the comprehensive development goals under HM the King’s leadership, Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohamed Al Romaihi said.
The minister deeply valued the praise by HM the King, as he chaired the Cabinet session, of the efforts of the Ministry of Information Affairs in confronting various challenges in a way that preserves the safety of Bahrain and the health of its loyal people and residents and puts the interest of the country and citizens above all considerations.
Such efforts by a dedicated elite of the nation would not have been possible had it not been for the continuous support and care of His Majesty for the media and communication sector in general, and for the Ministry of Information Affairs in particular, he stressed.
The credit goes, after God Almighty, to HM the King who has provided the nation with the care of a father and the wisdom of a leader, the minister said.
Al Romaihi also lauded the continuous follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and his wise leadership of Team Bahrain with a spirit relishing challenges and driven by a passion for achieving goals.
He stressed that the triumphs over various challenges were a natural outcome of the combined official, popular and patriotic efforts led by HRH the Crown Prince.
“We do emphasize that Bahrain’s media will remain committed to the directives of HM the King in fulfilling its mission and conveying messages efficiently and sincerely,” Al Romaihi said.
The minister pledged to exert further efforts under the one-spirit team to develop the media and communication sector towards higher levels and wider horizons in a way that achieves the aspirations of the nation under the wise leadership of HM the King.
