MANAMA: BRAVE Combat Federation continued to provide fans around the world with content as the fastest-growing organization with featuring BRAVE CF 16 broadcast through the promotion’s own YouTube channel on Sunday, June 7th.
BRAVE CF 16 took place on September 21, 2018, at the Mubadala Arena, in Abu Dhabi. It was the second time BRAVE Combat Federation organized a show in the United Arab Emirates, and the fight card was stacked from top to bottom, including two title fights.
Jarrah Al-Selawe, the current Welterweight world champion, had his first title shot against then-champion Carlston Harris in the main event of the evening, while Elias Boudegzdame defended his Featherweight crown against American wrestler Bubba Jenkins.
Aside from the two top title fights, BRAVE CF 16 also featured the return of Bruno Malfacine, who was fresh off his record-breaking 10th world title in jiu-jitsu. The legendary fighter took on Cristian Rodriguez Jr in a Flyweight bout in the main card.
Also, on tap for the rerun are several high-profile bouts, including the BRAVE CF debut of Lightweight contender Guram Kutateladze, who took on Erick “Indio Brabo” da Silva, as well as Bahrain’s Hamza Kooheji taking on Crisanto Pitpitunge from the Philippines, and one-time Bantamweight title contender Louie Sanoudakis facing off against Nawras Abzakh.
