Manama: Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company Edamah, the real-estate arm of the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain Mumtalakat has appointed Southern Tourism Company (STC) as the operator of Sa’ada Marina, a key component of the mixed-use Sa’ada development located on the Muharraq waterfront.
The appointment of STC as the marina operator marks the official opening of Sa’ada Marina, connecting Sa’ada with other commercial docks and Bahrain’s waterfront tourist attractions. A mixed-use project, Sa’ada offers unique waterfront hospitality and retail units which are ready for tenants with several new openings to be announced soon.
Sa’ada Marina provides various water and recreational activities with a water taxi service and a recreational Marina Park for tourist boats. Southern Tourism Company will offer a number of boat trips from the Marina to Manama reservation area and historical attractions such as Bu Maher Fort and Bahrain National Museum, as well as Bahrain Bay and Hawar Island.

The Sa’ada project has a total area of 13,112 square meters and includes 34 commercial units, parking for 200 cars and marine parking for 36 marine vessels of all sizes. The development includes restaurants and leisure outlets, and soon a pedestrian bridge will link Muharraq Souq to the waterfront.
The Sa’ada development is aligned with Edamah’s strategy that focuses on developing new projects and updating existing projects in a sustainable manner, and managing them according to the highest international standards and best business practice.
