Manama: Under its “100 laptops” initiative aiming to provide laptops to all students and enhancing “remote learning” efforts in the Kingdom, AlMabarrah AlKhalifia provided the Friendship Society for the Blind with 17 laptops to help them keep up with their studies and education more conveniently.
This initiative has contributed to the national efforts encouraging students to be more prepared and adaptive with the remote learning process under the current circumstances. The initiative also aimed to create a positive impact on society by emphasizing the sense of social responsibility towards the Kingdom and its people, while influencing individuals and companies to participate in charitable works. This initiative embodies the values of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, which highlights the importance of education as a right for all and spreads the value of giving.
“We believe that education is a right for all, and as a part of our social responsibility, we have decided to list Friendship Society for the Blind as one of the beneficiaries of our “100 laptops” initiative, which we have previously launched, by granting them with 17 laptops,” Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, said.
