“The Traffic Week Campaign showcases the efforts of the Traffic Directorate in protecting the community and raising awareness, in an attempt to reduce the number of traffic-related accidents and increase the percentage of safe road-users. Our goal can be achieved through the general public’s commitment towards obeying traffic laws and through the support of the private sector, civil society organisations, and all members of society. To ensure that we reach the maximum number of people on a larger scale, the campaign relies primarily on social networking sites, as they have become highly influential and effective in spreading a message within our society,” Brigadier Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa, Director-General of Traffic, said.
Brigadier Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Abdul Wahhab Al Khalifa appreciated the partnership of NBB for supporting this campaign for its sheer importance as being awareness on traffic procedures to preserve the safety and well-being of all in Bahrain.
