Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain and Islamic Republic of Pakistan are keen on strengthening bilateral relations, including cooperation against COVID-19, which requires strong coordination and solidarity from the international community.
This came as His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, HE Shah Mahmood Qureshi, on the sidelines of an official visit, in which HE lead a delegation for the Bahraini-Pakistan Joint Ministerial Committee.
His Royal Highness welcomed HE the Minister to Bahrain, before exchanging the greetings of the President of Pakistan, HE Dr. Arif Alvi, Prime Minister HE Imran Khan, and HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness then underlined the importance of strengthening bilateral relations, including cooperation against COVID-19, which requires strong coordination and solidarity from the international community.
HE the Foreign Minister expressed his appreciation for the support extended by His Royal Highness towards strengthened bilateral and COVID-19 cooperation.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, were also in attendance.
