Islamabad: Bahrain-Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Committee, held talks in Pakistan’s capital and discussed enhancing cooperation in defense, security, economy and investment between the Council of Representatives and Pakistan National Assembly.
Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee of the Council of Representatives Chairman Mohamed Ibrahim Al Sisi Al Buainain affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to consolidate bilateral relations in various fields in line with His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s efforts to meet the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The two sides confirmed the importance to respect the sovereignty of states and not interfere in the affairs of others, in accordance with mutual respect, international laws and treaties.
They stressed their keenness to preserve the security of the Arabian Gulf and maritime navigation especially amid the recent unfortunate incidents.
