MANAMA: Mahmood Rafique, Editor: The President of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), Mr. Kerrith Brown, praised the distinguished organization in his speech during the opening ceremony at BRAVE International Combat Week.
Brown stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is always a distinguished station for hosting and organizing IMMAF championships, adding that he has great confidence in the first edition of the MMA SUPER CUP which will be a resounding success on Bahrain soil.
Kerrith noted his appreciation to the follow-up and support of His Highness Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa to raise the level of mixed martial arts sport, and praised the efforts of the Khaled bin Hamad Sports Organization headed by Mr. Mohammed Shahid in its continuous endeavor to work to support this sport, appreciating the cooperation and efforts of the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation headed by Mr. Mohammed Ali Qambar in implementing programs that raise the levels of Bahraini mixed martial arts, which has become one of the strongest federations in the world, and wishing all the success to the participating teams in this event.
MMA Super Cup is the first-ever nation vs nation amateur mixed martial arts tournament in the world, where the best team in the world will compete to prove themselves amongst the top amateur mixed martial arts nations in the world.
