MANAMA: Mahmod Rafique, Editor: ASEAN Council Bahrain, headed by Sheikh Daij bin Isa Al Khalifa, discussed economic and cultural relations with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Kingdom of Bahrain and how to take these brotherly ties to the new heights of excellence.
Nabil Ajoor, Deputy Vice President of the ASEAN Council in Bahrain, on behalf of Sheikh Daij bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Council, attended the ceremony hosted by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of ASEAN in Bahrain, Ardi Hermawan, at his home in Saar region in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
On the occasion of the fifty-sixth anniversary of the founding of the ten ASEAN coseveralmely Indonesia, the Philippines, Brunei, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar, under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ambassadors of the ASEAN countries accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain, members of the ASEAN Council of Bahrain and a number of invitees.
