MANAMA: Mahmood Rafique, Editor: As BRAVE International Combat Week final day is just one day away, the spectators anxiously awaiting to witness the most thrilling sporting event in the Kingdom of Bahrain. On Friday night, the final show in that stretch – and the last one of the year – will take place at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town.
In the main event of the evening, Jose Torres will defend his BRAVE CF bantamweight championship against Nkosi Ndebele. Prior to that, however, we’ll see an explosive co-main event go down at 185 pounds.
Jarrah Al-Silawi will make his long-awaited return to BRAVE Combat Federation more than two years after his last appearance at BRAVE CF 80. In that time, he’s competed for PFL, but he’s now ready to try and climb to the top of the mountain in BRAVE CF once again.
Al-Silawi is a former BRAVE CF welterweight champion and with 12 of his 18 wins coming via finish, it’s not an exaggeration to say that this is one of the most dangerous former champs in BRAVE CF history.
Nenad Avramović has never competed for BRAVE CF, but when you take a look at his recent form, it isn’t hard to see why they are putting him in such a prominent position. Nenad is riding a five-fight win streak, he has won five bouts via submission, and his most recent outing came back in the summer when he secured a first-round guillotine choke victory.
Al-Silawi’s return to BRAVE CF is going to serve as an incredible moment for those watching live in the Kingdom of Bahrain, but he can’t afford to take his opponent lightly.
