KAI Bahrain is testament of quality, growth, and sustainability and successful commencement of production at its state-of-the-art facility leveraging innovative technology and advanced processes. “Our aluminium rods have garnered excellent reception from buyers across regional and global markets. Our customer-centric approach, combined with high-quality feedstock sourced from Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), further enhances the prestige of and ‘Made in Bahrain’ aluminium products. The positive feedback we have received from our customers substantiates our decision to continue investing in and expanding our downstream aluminium activities in Bahrain. Alba’s unwavering support for the entire aluminium sector, and their initiative-taking promotion of downstream industries, remains a cornerstone of our expansion strategy. At KAI, we pride ourselves on nurturing local talent. Currently, Bahrainis hold pivotal positions such as Head of Quality, Operators, Mechanical Engineer, and Security Personnel. Additionally, through our collaboration with Tamkeen, we have onboarded trainees, and plan to add more through our Global Graduate Trainee Program. This initiative offers recent Bahraini graduates the opportunity to gain experience within our Bahrain operations and undertake short-term assignments at our global offices, thereby enriching their skills across various disciplines,” he added.
As part of our “Go Green” initiative, we have completed a comprehensive feasibility study for the partial solarization of our plant and are now advancing towards the implementation of a sustainable solar energy solution. Expanding beyond our aluminium production, we launched our global food and agri-business sector in 2023 with plans to establish agri-processing operations in Bahrain. Focusing on food security and essential consumer staples, we are developing a Multi-grain Wheat Flour Mill. This project, in cooperation with existing industry players, promises to bring an additional multi-million foreign direct investment (FDI) to Bahrain, diversifying our business portfolio and bolstering the local agricultural sector and economy. We remain steadfast in our commitment to delivering high-quality products and services to our esteemed customers, underlined by our dedication to sustainable practices and corporate responsibility. With our advanced production facility, experienced workforce, and strategic partnerships, we foresee continued growth and success in the global market,” he said.
