MANAMA: National kickboxing team player, Abdullah Jamal Issa, achieved a new achievement for Bahraini kickboxing, after winning third place and the bronze medal in the 57 kg weight category in the “Low Kick” competition at the Asian Kickboxing Championship hosted by Cambodia.
The President of the Bahrain Kickboxing Federation, Ahmed Khalid Al Wazzan, stressed that this result achieved by the player Abdullah Jamal reflects the keenness and interest of His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Combat Games Council, in supporting the Federation to achieve positive results in external events.
Al-Wazzan explained that achieving third place in this continental sports gathering is an incentive for more achievements in the coming period, praising the efforts made by the player Abdullah Jamal in presenting distinguished levels and winning third place, appreciating the efforts of the technical and administrative staff of the national team in preparing the player to participate in this Asian participation, wishing all success and prosperity to the teams and national teams in the game in achieving more honorable results in the upcoming participations.
