Manama: Marking the anniversary of Bahraini Women’s Day which falls on December 1, Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) has announced the launch of the “On Her Path” initiative, in collaboration with Bahrain Investment Professionals Society (CFA Society Bahrain).
The initiative aims at empowering Bahraini women by building their professional capacities across various fields, particularly in Islamic banking. Through mentorship and guidance, thirteen female mentors from BisB will provide professional support and expertise to Bahraini women, equipping them with knowledge and skills in specialized departments.
The program is part of BisB’s ongoing commitment to promoting equal opportunities, encouraging Bahraini women to achieve their professional and personal aspirations, and fostering the exchange of experiences with female leaders at the bank.
Participants in the initiative will engage in a 10-month training program, running from January 2025 to October 2025, with a graduation ceremony scheduled for November 2025. This initiative will establish a platform for effective communication and knowledge-sharing between mentors and trainees, creating opportunities for professional growth and contributing to Bahrain’s vision of an inclusive society built on equality and excellence.
“We are thrilled to announce this initiative in partnership with the CFA Society Bahrain.
