Saboteurs accused of wreaking havoc in several parts of Bahrain on Friday will be sued legally.
The Interior Ministry said that several saboteurs had been arrested on the charges of illegal protests, attacking public areas and creating chaos would face legal action.
In a statement the ministry said that security forces had to deal with rallies and illegal acts which resulted from demonstrations.
“Sporadic groups staged rallies in several parts of Bahrain following instigative calls posted on social networking sites,” the Ministry of Interior confirmed.
In the same statement, the ministry said that a group of saboteurs and outlaws stormed Bahrain City Centre Mall around 4pm with a nefarious design to create a chaos and terrorising shoppers.
Security forces and policewomen had intervened and dealt with the saboteurs and outlaws. The minister extended its sincere apologies to City Centre management, citizens and expatriates for any inconvenience the operation might have caused.
“Things have gone back to normal”, the ministry said, assuring all people.
