Qurtoba Intermediate School for Girls came under attack by saboteurs who hurled incendiary substances over the school perimeter wall from outside during class break time in an attempt to adversely affect the educational process, menace against students’ physical safety and disrupt schooling.
The latest attack comes following a series of acts of sabotage which targeted Ministry of Education schools. The Ministry of Education condemned the increasing growing number of acts of vandalism perpetrated by outlaws in a desperate attempt meant to deprive schoolchildren from their right in finding a peaceful, secure educational environment and also meant to disrupt schooldays. The Ministry reassured the public that it is doing everything possible to protect the school environment from acts of hooliganism.
