Turkey lauded the reforms initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa received a letter in this regard from his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu, who lauded the reform strides.
He cited particularly the National Consensus Dialogue, describing it as a catalyst to promote the march of comprehensive development.
He also paid tribute to HM King Hamad for establishing the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI) and the National Compensation Fund to benefit people affected by the unrest. Davutoglu reaffirmed his country’s stance, welcoming the issuance of the BICI report pointing out its transparency.
He also lauded the establishment of the National Commission charged with thr implementation of the probe panel’s recommendations, describing the royal initiative as a crucial step on the path of national reconciliation, towards meeting people’s aspirations through a serious national dialogue which would open up wider horizons for the reform momentum in Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
