Advertising and marketing experts welcomed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s hosting of Al-Arab News Channel and Rotana Media Group and praised development accomplished during the prosperous reign of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Monarch of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Experts told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that the new media organizations shall be beneficial not only to the media but also to the local advertising market and by doubling advertising and ultimately boosting the Kingdom’s GDP and creating more job opportunities for young Bahrainis.
The Information Affairs’ (IAA’s) president Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa had earlier announced that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Media City would host Al-Arab News Channel and Rotana Media Group and act as their major operations base next year.
IAA has already reached agreement with Al-Arab News Channel to launch its business from Manama on 12/12/2012 and Rotana Channels Group are expected to move from Riyadh to Manama once legal and organizational arrangements are complete for the Media City.
Rotana group of channels comprises 12 satellite channels including Al-Risala, Rotana Khalijiya, Rotana Tarab, Rotana Music, Rotana Cinema, Rotana Zaman, Clip, Misriyya, Fox movies, fox series and LBC.
