TradeQuest Investment Challenge school teams presented their trading performance during the second trading period of the program. The session was held at Bahrain Bourse’s auditorium, the owner of the program.
During the session, the participating teams presented their financial performance in both Bahrain Bourse and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) during the 2nd trading period of the program which lasted for seven weeks.
The teams also reviewed the main difficulties they faced during this period and their risk management techniques, as well as the performance of the companies on their portfolio. Students also outlined their investment strategy for the upcoming trading period (TP3).
The Investment Review Committee (IRC), which consists of a number of investment advisors from various financial institutions and Bahrain Bourse, evaluated the teams’ presentations according to the rules and regulations of the TQ program. The winning teams will be announced after the 3rd trading period at the end of March.
This year’s TradeQuest program includes 7 school teams, and they are Al Noor International School, Bahrain School, Ibn Khuldoon National School, Abdul Rahman Kanoo International School, Naseem International School, St. Christopher’s School, and a team representing the government schools.
