The advisor to His Majesty King on Media Affairs, Nabeel bin Yacub Al Hamer said the national multilateral dialogue engaging all components of Bahraini society would be held soon.
“All parties have expressed the desire to put an end to the brewing crisis”, the Bahrain News Agency quoting Al Hamer, said.
Bahraini daily Al-Ayam quoted Al Hamer saying to CNN Arabic that serious contacts are underway to elaborate a vision between all official, non-governmental and national parties seeking to end the unfolding crisis.
“The contacts, which started a month ago, will soon yield a multi-party national dialogue”, Al-Hamer said.
Resigning Al-Wefaq member parliament Jameel Kadhim Al-Alawi confirmed Al-Hamer’s statement, announcing that the dialogue would start within the next ten days.
He pointed out that Al-Wefaq would take part without preconditions, stressing the readiness of the opposition to negotiate and make concessions over “Manama Document”.
