International delegates currently taking part in the Bahrain International eGovernment Forum 2012, being held from April 9 to 11th, praised Bahrain’s eGovernment efforts in developing its services provided to the country’s citizens and residence; as well as its keenness in enhancing the public-private partnership to improve the ICT field in Bahrain.
The eGovernment Authority (eGA) received international delegates, consisting of the forum speakers and guests of the authority. The aim of the visit was to introduce the eGovernment practices that are used to enhance the authority’s performance, service delivery effectiveness, the productivity of the governmental entities in the ICT field along with exchange of experience.
The delegates were welcomed by the eGA Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Ali Al Qaed and the executive management team. They consisted of senior international leading eGovernments from South Korea, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Japan, Estonia, United States of America and Germany. In addition to representatives of the United Nations, international organizations and research centers who are taking part in this year’s forum as speakers of the main sessions. GCC delegate representatives were also present.
The previous and current eGovernment strategies were showcased along with Bahrain’s achievements in the eGovernment field; emphasizing on the latest initiatives and national projects.
