Shura Council President Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh SBI Pharmaceuticals Co Chief Executive Officer Yoshitaka Kitao and stressed Bahrain’s keenness on promoting cooperation with Japan.
He underlined Bahrain’s adopted policies welcoming international pharmaceutical investment projects to provide basic medical products for the health sector and promote medical services in the kingdom.
He pointed out the historic visit made by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, heralding a more cooperation between both countries in all sectors.
He hailed Japan’s landmark technological strides, ranking among the top seven industrial powerhouses in the world.
He commended the Japanese SBI delegation’s efforts to set up a pharmaceutical factory in Bahrain, stressing the Kingdom’s credentials to host such a vital project.
The meeting was attended by Shura Council second deputy chairperson Dr. Bahiya Jawad Al-Jishi, Shura Council members Dr. Nada Abbas Haffadh and Nancy Elie Khedhoury and Bahrain Ambassador to Japan Dr. Khalil Hassan.
