The Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME) & Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) shows look forward to welcoming the worlds’ airlines in under two weeks time. AIME & MRO ME takes place 22 to 23 January 2013 at a brand new location Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
AIME & MRO ME is set to attract 3,000 attendees an increase of 25% on the 2012 show which promises cutting-edge design, innovative cabin fittings and the latest trends in technological advancements for the region’s flourishing commercial and business aviation market.
As mentioned by Boeing’s CMO 2012-2031 report; the Middle East carriers often prefer to renew their fleets on a 15 year cycle, a shorter cycle than the global average. Thus of the 2,370 forecast airplane deliveries to the region, about 30 per cent will replace older airplanes, leaving 70 per cent for the region’s fleet growth.
As a result of this demand, AIME & MRO ME pre-registration has witnessed an overwhelming amount of visiting airline’s registrations from different parts of the world – with 92 airlines already signed up to attend from India, Europe, Asia, Middle East and across Africa.
As one of the most significant events in the region, AIME & MRO ME will once again offer their successful Hosted Buyer programme – providing key decision-makers in cabin interior and procurement the ideal platform for face to face meetings to develop business relationships. With, under two weeks until opening day, there are already 15 Hosted Buyers who have confirmed their participation from airlines such as Jazeera Airways, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways and Emirates.
“We are putting in a lot of time to ensure we attract the right calibre of individuals and it’s clearly working by the amount of airlines who have registered to date. The Hosted Buyer Programme proved hugely significant to exhibitors in 2012 and we expect this year’s show to be no different,” Alison Weller, Managing Director of show organiser F&E Aerospace, said.
