A group of students from Al Sehla School for Boys visited the Oil Museum and HRH Princess Sabeeka Park in Awali. The visit is part of Bapco’s ongoing efforts to enhance the concept of social responsibility towards the civil institutions of Bahrain’s community. During the visit, the students toured the various sections of the museum and were briefed on its collections and displays.
The students also visited HRH Princess Sabeeka Park located in Awali, and learned about the rare plants growing in the park. Upon the conclusion of the visit, the School’s officials expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to Bapco’s management for organizing the visit, praising the role that BAPCO plays as a key supporter and major contributor to Bahrain’s national economy. HRH Princess Sabeeka Park was opened in February 2010 in Awali. It occupies an area of 43,000 square meters. The park is lush with greenery and is designed in a unique traditional pattern.
The park features entertainment facilities, including children play areas and others in addition to a model building for renewable energy. The park highlights Bapco’s leading role in the community and affirms its ongoing commitment to establishing major environmental projects in the Kingdom.
