A group of students enrolled at the French Paris-Dauphine University will visit Bahrain this month.
Bahrain Ambassador to France Dr. Nasser Al-Balooshi held a forum titled “Welcome to Bahrain” and updated them on the Kingdom’s economic, financial and banking strides.
The students are preparing their Master’ Degree in Islamic Finance at the Paris-Dauphine University.
Dr. Al-Balooshi highlighted Bahrain’s status as a financial and banking hub and a highly-strategic gate to the GCC markets.
He underlined the Kingdom’s adopted policies to attract investors, stressing in this regard openness on regional and international economies and the absence of taxes.
He pointed out Bahrain’s drive to diversify the economy and promote non-oil sectors, privatization and develop the banking and services sectors.
He also highlighted tolerance and religious liberties which are stipulated in the constitution, making Bahrain a pioneering country.
Sharifa Al-Balooshi, the ambassador’s wife, also addressed the forum stressing the status of Bahraini women in all fields and the incorporation of the French language in Bahrain’s educational curricula.
