Gulf International Bank (GIB), a leading financial institution based in the Kingdom of Bahrain, recently held an in-house blood donation drive that saw almost 100 staff donate blood.
The initiative, which was held to coincide with World Health Day, was conducted by a team of medics from the Central Blood Bank of Bahrain at the GIB’s Headquarters in Manama and underscores GIB’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.
“This initiative is a great opportunity for the Bank to give back to the community of Bahrain. Initiatives such as these encourage community spirit within the Bank and greatly enhance team building,” GIB CEO, Dr. Yahya Alyahya, said.
