College of Health Sciences organized a seminar on the integration of women’s need in the development and equal opportunities for the staff of Health Ministry, presented by Training and Development Advisor at the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Women Bahija Al-Dailmi.
The seminar aimed at recognizing the concept of integrating women in the development process, requirements of the principle of equal opportunities, benefits returned to the Ministry and to working women, in addition to profiting from health services.
The seminar reviewed the role of the Supreme Council for women in the integration of women in the development process through the application of the principle of equal opportunities, along with the role and terms of Equal Opportunities Department (EOD) at the Ministry of Health.
It is worth mentioning that EOD have been successful in including the concepts of integration of women’s needs and the principle of equal opportunities in the Kingdom’s Health agenda strategy of health improvement 2011-2014.
