Director-General of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security announced on Friday the arrest of three GCC nationals for currency forging charges.
He said that a hotel in Manama reported receiving forged currency notes of a Gulf country by 3 GCC nationals for services provided for them, adding that police rushed to the scene and arrested the suspects.
After obtaining a warrant from the Public Prosecution, the police searched their residence and car, found the forging tools and confiscated them.
He added that the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
