Batelco, Bahrain’s leading communications company, has been ranked the No1 Brand on YouTube in Bahrain by Tawasul Al Khaleej, the leading social media and communication company in the GCC, specialized in providing the best social media end-to-end consultancy and management services.
The announcement was made following Tawasul Al Khaleej’s recent research when they compiled data from three major social media networks in Bahrain (Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube). Their findings found that Telecommunication Operators are the most popular brands across all major social media networks in Bahrain with Batelco remained ahead of all other companies on YouTube.
“Batelco understands that Social Media helps brands to connect to their customers in a more personal way and keeps them engaged with new services and products. During 2013, Batelco increased their use of all Social Media avenues and also encouraged the use of the leading networks by holding prize winning promotions via the leading networks including YouTube, Twitter and Facebook,” Batelco in a statement said.
Batelco General Manager Consumer Division Muna Al Hashemi said that Batelco is aware that more and more of its customers, especially the youth market and young executives, utilise social media on a daily basis.
“Accordingly, we use these networks to communicate our product news with these sectors of our customers and also add some value and fun by holding prize winning campaigns that suit their needs,” she added.
