MANAMA: Arab Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al-Jarwan and members arrived in Bahrain to take part in the third meeting of the Arab Parliament’s second session of the first legislative term which will be hosted by Manama from March 2 to 6.
The Arab Parliament’s committees will start their meetings on March 2 to prepare for the parliament’s session which will convene on March 5 and 6 to discuss boosting the Arab national security.
House of Representatives and Shura Council to host the third meeting of the second session of the of the first legislative term of the Arab Parliament (AP) to be held under the chairmanship of the AP Head, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Jarwan, from 2-6 March 2014 and to discuss reinforcing Arab national security.
Council of Representatives Speaker, Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani, underscored the importance of the AP that embodies the Arab people who represent the base on which all crucial decisions are taken.
Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, stressed bolstering Arab relations, wished the event success and to reach resolutions aim to enhance joint Arab action, lauding the AP stances supporting Bahrain sovereignty and stability.
