Jeddah: The Kingdom of Bahrain is among the other Arab countries which has pledged to take part in the regional and international efforts to maintain regional peace and security.
Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to join the efforts to combat terrorism and dry up the sources feeding this scourge which endangers regional security and stability.
The minister affirmed the stance as he attended in Jeddah a regional meeting with the US on combating terrorism. The delegations discussed best ways to combat terrorism, stressing particularly the alarming danger of the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), also known as Daesh.
They stressed the necessity of drawing up plans and unifying efforts to confront this dangerous group so as to maintain the security and stability of this vital and highly-strategic part of the world.
