MANAMA: The Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan announced on Tuesday that policeman Ali Mohammed Ali was killed in a terrorist bombing in Demistan on Monday evening. The homemade device was detonated remotely.
The chief stated that the deceased was a Jordanian who worked in Bahrain as part of the security and training exchange agreement between Bahrain and Jordan.
The Chief said that investigators responded to the scene to collect evidence while the Public Prosecution was notified. He concluded by offering his sincere condolences to the family and colleagues of the policeman killed in the line of duty. The Chief wished that his soul rests in peace.
