Bahrain: Major achievements, innovations and excellence in the regional insurance industry were recognised at the award ceremony held last night along the sidelines of the 11th Annual Edition of the Middle East Insurance Forum (MEIF 2015) at the Gulf Hotel in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The annual MEIF Award, which is among the most prestigious in the region, is designed to recognize an institution that has made significant contributions to the advancement of the Middle East insurance industry.
Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Baker, Executive Director of Financial Institutions Supervision at the Central Bank of Bahrain, presented the awards to the winner at an impressive gala dinner and awards ceremony held during MEIF 2015.
Saudi National Insurance Company (SNIC) has been voted as the winner of the 2015 MEIF Institutional Excellence Award from a short-list of nominees through a unique industry-based voting system. The MEIF Institutional Excellence Award recognizes a leading institution that has demonstrated outstanding achievements and institutional excellence in major performance areas. SNIC’s nomination for the award highlighted their significant growth and expansion, innovation, product diversity, technical expertise and their proven track record of success.

The 11th Annual Edition of the Middle East Insurance Forum (MEIF 2015), a two day event held under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain, was attended by more than 500 international industry leaders representing over 200 institutions.
