MANAMA: The Kingdom of Bahrain has recorded two more deaths from the COVID-19 on Tuesday in less than 24 hours taking the total to 29 from 27 a day earlier. The number of active cases receiving treatment were 68 by Tuesday afternoon.
During the past few weeks there has been a spike in numbers of deaths from the COVID-19 despite the Kingdom’s best efforts to address the testing, trace, isolate and treatments aspects of the national strategy aimed at dealing with the novel coronavirus effectively.
The Kingdom has so far completed 378235 tests by Tuesday from367056 tests a day earlier and active cases were 5056 on Tuesday from 5270 on Monday, among them stable were 5084 from 5257 while critical 12 and 29 deaths. The latest tally of discharged patients reached 10606.
The Ministry of Health has published contact tracing information effective immediately.
This measure has been established, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, to ensure the continued health and safety of all citizens and residents, and involves the circulation of precautionary information detailing the locations visited by contacts of active cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19). These notifications also include the dates individuals visited those locations.
Anyone who finds information on the site stating their presence or the presence of one of their relatives or acquaintances at a listed location should immediately contact 444 and follow the instructions provided.
