MANAMA: Mahmood Rafique, Editor: The Kingdom of Bahrain has achieved a landmark 403036 as result of major steps taken to enhance country-wide scope of testing to combat the COVOD-19 pandemic.
Earlier, Bahrain has reported two more deaths from the COVID-19 taking the total to 36 by Friday morning as posted on the Ministry of Health website.
The total tests completed by Friday were 403036 with active cases 5330 and stable 5320 and the active cases receiving treatment were 137 while 10 cases were critical. The total number of discharged patients reached 11903.
The Ministry of Health has begun announcing contact tracing information through ministry’s portal.
This measure has been established, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, to ensure the continued health and safety of all citizens and residents, and involves the circulation of precautionary information detailing the locations visited by contacts of active cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19). These notifications also include the dates individuals visited those locations.
Anyone who finds information on the site stating their presence or the presence of one of their relatives or acquaintances at a listed location should immediately contact 444 and follow the instructions provided.
