MANAMA: Mahmood Rafique, Editor: The Kingdom of Bahrain has announced 1060 new COVID-19 infections which had been detected during the nation-wide testing by the Ministry of Health. The death tally from the COVID-19 was up from 557 to 561 by afternoon on Monday.
The Ministry of Health so far notified four deaths from the COVID-19 on Monday and all were citizens including a 106 year old male citizen.
“Out of 18235 COVID-19 tests carried out on 11 April 2021, 1060 new cases have been detected among 354 expatriate workers, 662 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 44 are travel related. There were 1028 recoveries from the COVID-19, increasing total recoveries to 144917, the Ministry of Health has confirmed.
