The Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa on Monday chaired at the BDF General Command the 11th National Safety Council’s meeting.
Shaikh Khalifa extended sincere thanks and praise to the wise leadership, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, whose support and sound directives have helped restore normalcy to the Kingdom.
He also paid tribute to the armed forces, represented by the BDF, Interior Ministry, National Guard and the National Security Agency, for the tremendous efforts they have exerted to re-establish security and stability across the kingdom and safeguard the safety of the citizens and the residents.
He also commended the security forces’ patriotism, loyalty to the wise leadership and professionalism in dealing with the recent unrest, asserting that they have undertaken their national responsibilities of thwarting all dangers posing a threat to the Kingdom and restoring security and stability across the nation with exceptional competence and resolution.
Shaikh Khalifa lauded the citizens’ loyalty and allegiance to the wise leadership, hailing their determination to defend their beloved country and face those campaigns orchestrated by evil sides for the sake of distorting the reputation of the kingdom and its armed forces and driving wedges between the members of the one-family Bahraini society.
Ways of consolidating national security and stability and boosting the national economy within the state of law and institutions were discussed.
The measures taken to ensure the citizens’ rights, safeguard properties and achievements and promote national cohesion were also reviewed.
The council also said that Bahrain will remain an oasis of peace, fraternity and tolerance and a model of national unity and cohesion, as it has always been, praying Allah Almighty to preserve the Kingdom’s wise leadership and people.
