The leaders of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait on Wednesday pledged to bolster bilateral cooperation in all fields.
This came as Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Dasman Palace His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and the accompanying delegation.
Shaikh Sabah welcomed HRH the Premier’s visit during the Holy month of Ramadan, hailing the strong fraternity and kinship bonding leaders in both countries.
He also lauded the steadily-growing relations in all fields, stressing his country’s keenness to back all steps conducive to the achievement of both peoples’ aspirations towards more complementarities and cooperation.
HRH the Premier lauded the relations of fraternity and amity bonding both countries and peoples, stressing firm keenness to bolster joint cooperation in all fields. He expressed heart-felt thanks to Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for the warm welcome and good hospitality, wishing Kuwait further progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.
“Bahrain will never forget Kuwait’s honourable stances and its role in protecting the Kingdom’s security and stability during the recent crisis”, he said.
He also lauded Kuwait’s valuable contributions in backing development programmes in Bahrain. HRH the Premier hailed the deep-rooted historic relations bonding both countries and peoples.
He paid to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and Shaikh Sabah for their keenness to bolster bilateral relations, praying Allah Almighty to bless the Kuwaiti people, the Arab and Islamic nations.
The two leaders discussed regional and international issues and their repercussions on the region.
They stressed the need to step up efforts towards more fruitful and constructive cooperation which would bolster the steady GCC march, achieve Gulf people’s aspirations to security and stability and stave off any present or futures threats.
Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah then hosted an Iftar banquet in honor of HRH the Premier and the accompanying delegation marking their brotherly visit to Kuwait.
Senior members of the Ruling Family, ministers and senior officials attended.
