Sharjah-based third-party logistics (3PL) company Momentum Logistics is witnessing continued success at its Logistics City, situated at the Sharjah Inland Container Depot (SICD), where consolidation services have grown by over 90 percent from the first half of 2010.
The Logistics City is strategically placed to offer easy access for Momentum’s customers to Jebel Ali, Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah and the Northern Emirates. Momentum’s ability to offer a one-stop-shop solution for their customer’s logistical requirements at the bonded facility has proved highly successful.
The Logistics City facility was fully completed late in 2010 with the opening of the final phase of warehouses. The facility’s services have proved extremely popular, and the warehouses have enjoyed a 100 percent occupancy rate since shortly after construction was completed.
“We at Momentum are pleased to see continued growth in the services on offer at our facility. I believe our success is the result of our location and customer service on offer,” Boy Fernandez, facility manager, said.
“Our customers are happy with our flexible approach and enjoy the benefits of dealing with one company that can offer a considerable portfolio of logistical services including warehousing, open storage, consolidation, freight forwarding, transportation and container repair, all from one bonded facility. At Momentum we manage and support our customers’ logistical requirements, which results in improved efficiency of their operations along with greater peace of mind,” he said.
