Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed the firm as a strategic property partner across the MENA region by HSBC. “Partnership to streamline service delivery and provide local market knowledge across HSBC sites in multiple countries,” Jones Lang LaSalle in a statement said.
“This is part of HSBC’s ongoing plan to streamline its global property operations, enhance governance and improve portfolio planning,” Jones Lang LaSalle in a statement said.
The regional transaction partnership role will provide a global standard operating procedure along with enhanced in-country delivery capacity and property market knowledge for transactions and portfolio events including acquisitions, disposals and lease renewals.
“We are delighted to have been appointed to work with HSBC and look forward to supporting them across the MENA region and beyond. Our intention is to provide best-in-class support to enable the HSBC Corporate Real Estate function to deliver an excellent service to its internal clients,” Robin Pugh, Head of Corporate Solutions at Jones Lang LaSalle MENA, said.
HSBC has also announced its intention to renew its five-year integrated real estate services contract with Jones Lang LaSalle for its eight-million-square-foot portfolio in the United States and is expanding the geographic scope to include an additional two-million-square-foot portfolio in Canada.
