His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa stressed that the genuine intentions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to restore national harmony have been obvious in the royal initiatives, including the National Consensus Dialogue and the setting of the Royal Fact-finding Commission.
He was speaking as he received senior officials, religious leaders, businessmen and citizens.
“Our national achievements are hard-won. Therefore, we will never relinquish them.
We will stick to them, develop them and protect them for they are national gains and the accomplishments of the Bahraini people,” he pledged calling on all to maintain national unity and shun politicization of issues for political purposes and self-interested ends.
He praised Bahrain’s cultural radiance crediting citizens for their strong patriotism in defending national achievements.
“Bahrain will remain powerful thanks to its loyal people,” HRH the Prime Minister affirmed stressing the government’s efforts to ensure citizens’ welfare.
He pointed out his continuous directives to ministers to keep in touch with citizens and reach out to their needs.
He said the kingdom’s development and urbanization boom reflects a sound and solid national economy.
He also credited businessmen and the private sector for their pivotal role in this regard urging the private sector to play a bigger part.
He called to protect commercial and economic enterprises as well as family companies to ensure a dynamic and fast-paced economy.
HRH the Prime Minister reviewed regional and international developments stressing the need for Arab integration to protect hard-won achievements.
