The Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa attended a reception marking the Saudi National Day termed King Abdulla as a visionary and a model leader for the entire world.
The Saudi Embassy in Bahrain hosted the reception, which was attended by senior members of the Ruling Family, Saudi officials and members of the diplomatic corps.
HRH the Premier paid tribute to Saudi Arabia, led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the shield of the Arabian Peninsula and the whole Arab nation, earning the respect of the whole world”, he said, crediting King Abdulla for ensuring his country a pioneering leading role on the Arab and international arena.
“King Abdulla is unique model leader, having succeeded, thanks to his wise leadership, in boosting his country’s renaissance and ensuring its pioneering status and generating utmost development and prosperity for his people”, he said.
He paid tribute to the Saudi monarch for advocating the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations, unequivocally siding with justice without hesitation, hailing his historic stance in support of Bahrain.
Saudi Arabia, he said, has proved its clout as the invincible citadel and fort for the Arab and Islamic nations.
He lauded landmark developments strides in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. “Any joy or achievement in Saudi Arabia also echo in Bahrain”, he said, hailing strong historic relations bonding both brotherly peoples and countries.
He highlighted Saudi principled and steadfast stances in support of Arab and Islamic causes and its pioneering role in buttressing all efforts aimed at maintaining security and stability all over the world, hailing its wise and balanced policies.
“Saudi Arabia has a special place in the hearts of all Arabs and Muslims the world over”, he said, praising the initiatives of the Saudi wise leadership in supporting Arab and Islamic causes and following in the steps of the founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud.
He reiterated congratulations to King Abdulla, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier, Defence and Aviation Minister and Inspector General Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
He also reaffirmed the keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and King Abdulla to further anchor historic relations. Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdul-Mohsen bin Fahd Al-Marek expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier for attending the event.
